Orienteering

Orienteering with Low Port takes place at a number of locations throughout West Lothian. From the picturesque setting of Linlithgow Peel to the woodlands of Beecraigs and Polkemmet Country Park. We are even able to come to your school and run a session based in the classroom or play ground.

Every Spring we run a series of 'Come and Try It' (CATI) Orienteering days throughout West Lothian. These allow children with little experience to learn and develop some of the skills required to take part in orienteering.

Orienteering can help develop the following in children and young people:

• navigation skills
• decision making
• working with others
• fitness

Schools and Youth Groups

We are able to offer orienteering as a half day or full day introductory session.
