White Water Rafting

What better way to experience some of Scotland?s finest scenery than by travelling down a river in an inflatable raft. Each of our rafts can carry up to eight crew plus a guide. All of our guides are SRA (Scottish Rafting Association) qualified.

Most of our trips take place on the upper section of the River Tay from Aberfeldy to Grandtully. This is a half day trip of about six miles. The first part of the trip winds its way through the Tay valley giving the crew ample time to practise their newly acquired skills before the river drops away into the rapids leading down to Grandtully. Grandtully rapid is the longest rapid on the river and provides a thrilling climax to the trip!

All participants will be provided with the following:

  • wet suit
  • wet boots
  • helmet
  • buoyancy aid
  • cagoule

By arrangement we can also run half day trips on the Lower Tay from Stanley to Thistle Brig, and the River Tummel, for the more adventurous rafter.

So whether you're a bunch of friends looking for a day out with a difference or a group of colleagues looking for some 'team bonding', then white water rafting could be just what you're looking for.
